rs1800 ecu in 1.8 xr2i

Postby KoalaPlushie on Fri Dec 05, 2008 7:51 pm

Thinking of getting hold of an rs1800 ecu and MAF sensor for my 1.8 xr2i.

Aswell as needing an rs1800 maf to go with the ecu, will I also need the corosponding lockset and keys? It's just the MAF sensor that'll need replacing too, all the other sensors will talk to the the rs1800 ecu?

cheers

Nobody any idea? Been trauling through previous threads, and aparantly the cult ECU isn't compatible with all years of 1.8 xr2i.

I'm sure you will only need the lockset/chip if the ECU is taken from an RS1800 with PATS.

If you take the ECU from a Mk3 RS1800 you will be fine.

Also you will need the cams, HO Inlet and Throttle Body from a RS1800.
