rs1800 help
ive got a severe power loss with my rs1800i, it wants to stop reving at 4k, it feels like it just holds back hard!, if you hold it long enough to rev through it it starts pulling around 5.5k again. still not wel though!
also even below 4k if i try going full throttle it does the same thing.
i've changed all the obvious stuff like leads, plugs, fuel filter ect..
i was wondering if the CPS or air flow meter could be causing this. or do they just give up all together when they go?
any help would be great

Have you unplugged any of the above and not noticed a change in performance. This could indicate a faulty sensor.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

yes i tried this yesterday, the air flow sensor was the one that made the most difference, revs much better! will this be well overfuelling now? are RS1800i ones the same as XR's?
its still got a miss fire on idel too.

Sounds like it could be the MAF. All 1800 maf are the same.
