Awesome.

Are you going to run the driveshaft for the supercharger from the crank pulley via a toothed belt drive?

Awesome project :o
As you'll using Megasquirt take a look here, for bigger injectors that fit in Zetec fuel rail:

Sorry mate, i'm not quite following your question, made bypass?

According to burton power, stock Zetec-E rods are 5.36" long with a 13/16" (20.63mm) little end

Thanks

Not sure why you would need a bypass valve, my car runs a closed system, with no bypass round the supercharger

Thanks

In roots tipe of supercharger Jacson racing bulit a kit with bypass so i think that is not wrong to have it on roots type of supercharger. Every literature which I read it tell that bypass is best for that kind of setup. Mybe centrifugal superchergers like yours dont make any boost in low rev but roots type of blower does some boost eaven in 1000 rpm. And when throottle is closed there is a lot of vacum between throttle and supercharger so bypass help to breath supercharger easyer...
That is my apinion...

Ah right, i'm afriad i cannot help then.

Ideas for a bypass valve, made you could adapt a recirculating dump valve to be used for the purpose?

Thanks

That's nice mate! I'm going to supercharge my Zetecturbo when it's build and tuned after 1 month (I hope!). I saw super-turbocharged 6I BMW and it's revs like a superbike! :o
Just one question: why don't you swap your alternator in place ot supercharger and mount charger in place of alternator? That's more tidy for me...
BTW: my ZT is going to be in Orion...

After reading this post last night i was wondering if your mounting the supercharger on where the battery used to sit and driving it by a bar on bearings connected to the engine via a pully how are you going to stop the belt jumping of the pully when the engine rocks on its mountings?

Surely the supercharger will need to move with the exact motion of the engine to stop this happening.

Supercharger is fixed on the engine holder...and because of that he can move together with engine.
