my fiesta MK3 is 1600cc 16v Zetec SI

my friend just sold me an RS1800 Zetec Head, is it good to swap it with the Zetec 1600cc Head, becouse i've heard that the RS1800cc Valves is bigger than the 1600cc Zetec, what power should i have if i swap this head, and does it make any problems?

off top of my head the comp ratios are diff on 1.6 and 1.8 zetecs, and the bores are wider. Stroke, crank etc are the same accross all zetecs its the bore that gives the extra cc, u may find the headgasket won`t last long or will not seal, and their will be a massive lip inside the combustion chamber which will wreck the flow of the head.

but do it damage the engine and does it give more power becouse the valves of the 1600cc is to small i've heard so the 1800cc have a better head

wouldn`t bother personally, power gains-dunno, u may loose power!, better off getting a 1.8 short block and stuff that in with the rs head. Damage noo idea, never tried it.
