RS2000 Rear Disc Handbrake Cable

Postby alanf_uk2002 on Fri Sep 04, 2009 8:37 am

Hi

I have bought a modified FRST but it has been stood for a few years and I am trying to get it back on the road again. It has RS2000 rear brake discs but the handbrake cable is knackered and needs replacing for the MOT. All I want to know is what type of cable is it likely to be - std FRST, std RS2000, or a modified cable of some sort?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Alan

I'm pretty sure it would be a rs2000 mate. As all the people selling the brakes sell that cable to go with them, so i'm guessing you have to use it.

Hope thats some help.

Cheers for the reply Phil. I'll buy an RS2000 cable and give that a go!
