RS2000 Rear Disc setup
Hi peeps, im not all too sure about this setup on fiesta's, ive had a quick look at an RS2000's rear beam, and it will bolt to the fiesta's floor, so if i get the beam and the handbrakes cables, is it just a straight forward conversion? Cos ive heard people have had plates made up to incorprate the handbrake cables, but why would you need to if you had the RS2000's complete running gear.
Info appreciated peeps
Regards Mike

I HAVE USED MY FIESTA REAR BEAM ,BUT HAVE HAD TO GRIND A COUPLE OF BRACKETS OFF TO GET THE BACKPLATES AND CABLEING ETC TO SIT CORRECTLY.
IF YOU USE THE RS2000 BEAM THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM, I BELIVE YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE RS2000 HANDBRAKE CABLE WITH THE FIESTA YOKE.
sorry about cap locks.
dont forget there are brake shoes inside the rear discs, these are only for the handbrake.

i will think that you will find that the escort rear beam is wider than the fiesta one!! so will not bolt up properly or push the rear track out too far and wheels will continually catch on the outer arch and lip!
for a guide of how to fit the breaks on a fiesta look at my web site!
have scanned the pages from performanceford in (in the how to section!)
