Problem or technical question?

I might have a couple of feet of starter cable, already terminated. I'll have a look tomorrow.

Failing that, you can get new here http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/V ... ycable.php

Thanks mate,

Got the chip today, so replaced the 195 chip with the new Ahmed bajoo one and she's running a treat, taking nothing as concrete I shall attempt test 2 later! As of yet there's no hesitation in any gears on boost :D

Car idols slightly high always seems to since my ownership so looking at previous threads maybe it could be TPS ?? I see the gaskets aren't easy to obtain? So I was thinking, maybe I could re use the gasket with a small outline of locktite gasket sealant ... Or is that an an epic fail in the making ?.

Dude men don't need instructions! Lol

Auto sparky is the way to go, if you get the wrong wire even thick stuff it can melt it.

I agree with not driving it much without the chip, although if taken easy it will prob be ok sometimes better safe than sorry comes into play.

Hahahaha,

Well test 2 has been conducted and passed with no problems, (short boosts:- happy to say there was no holding back/spluttering)

Later on I shall conduct a long road test if this play ball, then I think 'gets excited' this new chip has worked!.

Which is why you normally have a thicker cable to the starter than the alt, a starter can draw a few hundred amps. :D

Damn I can't fully remember lol but yeah I think 4 is right.
If I remember rightly you should have the
Main earth with square terminal, a black one that goes to battery tray, a small brown to inner wing, and a largish wire with a ring connector

Think it's correctly wired up from the battery , cheers jay,

Instaid of opening up more threads I may aswell as couple of questions on here,

1) what would benefit me more, a RR set up or a 'live road'? Set up?

2)Can a t3 conversion be done while the engine is still in?. And is it fairly easy to do?.

Yes a t3 conversion can be done with the engine in, its a case of fit the turbo, plumb it up sort the exhaust, mess with the rad for clearance and done, it has its issues due to space but that's it really.
Unless you want to put a oil return in the sump then it means sump off but you can swap out the block fitting for a t3 one.

As for Set ups, ive never had a live map before so can comment on that side of it, but I think the general thing is that its better... But that's one to get answers by someone else tbh

Scrape off all the sticky tape from the mirror and glass and clean it after with something like thinners then try it again with a decent sticky mirror pad, don't be tempted to super glue it lol

glad it sorted it bud :D
t3 conversion is a peice of piss the only hard part is either getting a full t3 stainless exhaust or chopping the down pipe to suit
iv got
a full frst stainless with erst t3 stainless down pipe
t3 oil return rubber mint with the union the pushes into the block
a t3 manifold

all thats needed apart from the above is a erst top boost hose, a t3 turbo, a erst oil fed pipe (burton power sell them)

it took me about an hour to swap it all over and that was 6 years ago when i wernt really that clued up

Evening all,

I've now replaced the bat to starter cable , and the starter to altnerator cable, today.

I only managed a 10min drive today , when I killed the ignition and left it 30 mins came back and it was dead!. Just wondering if that's because I haven't charged the battery up enough? Think it's done about 10 miles in the last 3 weeks .?.

There's actually a specific glue for doing this iirc.
