Well this hasn't been updated in a while! Thought I'd bring this up to date even if nobody reads it! Lol
Well been very busy since last update had to strip and rebuild.my mates astra Sri turbo. Plus had a few other private engines to build aswell so haven't had much time to work on my own :(
Anyways to get the ball rolling il take of where I left off . Parts that iv sorted ssince, ecu has arrived in also just got my wideband lambda through. Just got to think of a way to mount my gauges now! Any suggestions are welcomed!
Injectors iv gone for some focus rs injectors as they're pretty much the same as vxr ones and we're cheap.. Exhaust manifold and downpipe have just been completed too used a focus rs downpipe 2.75" and a s14 manifold downpipe was pretty good fit wasn't much aadjusting! Manifold could have been easier tbf. Now I have most of the parts to get the old girl running atleast then I want to do other parts like gearbox before I actually drive it
Anyways enough chat here's some pics!

Port matched the inlet.manifold to the adaptor plate and head

Nearly there!

Starting to modify downpipe
Image
And a little while later I have a downpipe too!

Image
Plenty of clearance from.the front.panel too :)
Image
Radiator mounts made and now.have loads of room.here too very happy :D

Quick.snap.of how it's looking now my inlet is in for more work n welding hopefully be back by the weekend
Image
And a last pic to show I haven't lost the thermostat housing was just being painted lol

So yea thats me fairly up to date again, all the exhaust side of things will be heat wrapped in black wrap.once I know there's no bad blows etc.. got to say I'm starting to get excited knowing it will run soon :Do
Any and all comments welcomed

Well happy to say there's been more progress on this
Image haven't had any recent pics yet, the manifold needs more work but it's not too bad atm slight blow because there's a snapped stud on the left side, but it does run, this was when I was first adjusting the idle as it's running.without a ICV you have to adjust the screw in.the throttle body, iv managed to clock up 400 miles in it so far and changing this oil this weekend, engine has been running well, I also decided to change the colour of the wheels Image
Image
Image will get some videos and more pictures soon as, next jobs are to sort the intercooler so I can fit another bumper that's uncut, and get a paddle clutch and my ib5 gearbox built then just more miles untill mapping, very happy indeed :Q :D
