SD Card Help

Postby KEVFRST on Wed Feb 22, 2012 6:01 pm

Good evening fellow Fters.

As usual, when I post a topic in here its because Im stuck.

I bought a SanDisk SDHC card (16GB) so I could put a load of pics onto it and take them to boots for printing.
Unforunately everytime I try to move a file onto it it says its write protected and for me to remove the protection.

How the heck do I do this? :-?

It can be a problem with the card itself, you do get a faulty one every now and then... take it back and swap it over :)

Make sure it's formatted with FAT32, if it's formatted as NTFS you may not have permission to write to the card. True enough, occasionally a duffer slips through and Sandisk is a damned good brand - I've not had a bad one from them yet.
Nothing to see here...
