Shells???

Postby mk3_Zetec on Sat Jan 28, 2006 8:21 pm

Is there any differences between the xr/rs shells and the 1.1 shell? because in the process of ripping out my 1.1 to make way for a 1600ZT... just wondering if the rs/xr shells are stronger or owt?

Cheers :)

Off topic mate but if you're going to the agro and expense of doing a Zetec Turbo do it on a 1.8 or 2.0 not on the crumby 1.6.

To be honest mat eI wouldn't worry about the mileage as it will all need to come apart to be turbo'd anyway. Just get one that isn't completely f**cked

If you rebuild to factory spec then not far off. Turboing it though will put stresses and strains on that Ford never intended so you can't expect it to last forever
