Shot/Sandblasting or Acid Dipping?
Right so after probably 2 years of my fiesta sitting on the drive it has started to corrode. Now i've been at it with the angle grinder with a wire wheel but it doesn't get right in there.
The options are to get a compressor and sandblaster, will it be easier cost effective etc. or get the shell dipped. If i was to get it dipped the cost would go through the roof though and work would need to be carried out before priming or sealing the shell. Basically the whole front end needs new panels.
So peoples can i have your opinions please.
Cheers

just repair the sections that need doing... dipping will be very mega bucks... blasting is an option but you will still need to cut out and repair the bad sections
also after the blasting you have to fix the problems and get it sealled before any mositure from the air gets hold of it, or it will rust again

yeah the dipping is very expensive and not worth the hassle. I would only blast the bits that aren't too bad ie. surface rust etc. as the wire wheel just isn't up to the job.
Anyone recommend a compressor to run a sand blaster and a sand blaster to suit as well.
