I was just wondering, im sure its a 3.5, it has the flap filler cap, airbag, its the 16v and its 1994 M reg, but my reason for becoming suspicious about it is that it has a coloured engine bay, where as my 95 si had a black engine bay..

due to this mystery, im unsure if i have fork mount or eye mount suspension.. i know its eye mount on the rear i checked the other day.

i havent checked the front yet.. but theres something else i find odd about this Si...

It has the XR2i suspension crossmember?? my 95 Si never had it, im sure as hell of it, and i thought it was only the 2i's that had it?

if anyone can jump in with some info ide really appriciate it..

if its an si its deffo a mk3.5, the rear suspension is the same on on mk3s and mk3.5s the difference is the front suspension where the shock fits into the hub, thats where the difference is.

When you say "Xr2i Suspension Crossmember" I presume you mean the S-Shaped tray underneath? All Si's should have these are they have the brackets on to hold the cat up.

im sure my last one didnt have it.. maybe i just missed it.

mine has a painted bay aswell, may just be the 94 cars
