Si front driver and rear passenger footwell soaking?
At wits end with this now, I can't see any water tracking down from behind dash, window seals look good, sunroof looks good. Seems to get very wet in the footwell when driving, had carpets up and no holes in floorpan, anybody have any ideas why it's getting so wet? No loss of antifreeze either, really don't know where it could be coming from It seems to be right where your heels would sit, the whole carpet isn't wet, just where my feet are and same for the back, but it's sopping wet and it's not coming from wet shoes.....Are there any common places MK3's leak? iIve heard bulkhead will bring water down behind the dash, but up by the pedals it's bone dry so can't be from up there? Any ideas?

These leaks are a bit tricky to find... I would also check the sealing around the heater fan. If it prerrishes it can allow xater to pass. Since the water from the windshield goes in the area under the grill, it can have some water that could pass from the gap from the sealing. Also check that the drains of this area are clear.

Cheers for the reply, it does seem that water is getting in around the heater fan area, I can see it tracking in from up there when I have the hose on it. Water seems to be getting in more so when I'm driving though, as if it's getting splashed in the car, the front and rear footwells are really soaking after a wet drive, anybody have any ideas where it could be from? The rear footwell looks like the water is tracking in from the crossmember underneath the front seats :/
