I have a si which has been lowered about 40mm ish on 105/45/15's, 7j fitment jobbies, I had rub on arche lips plus inside plastic arch liners, the lner, just leave it it is softer than your tyre when spinning, all it has doent o mine is make a v.small little rip in the arch liner, then I had just slightly trimmed that area, arch weather lips, get the good old dremel out and some underseal, that what I have done, still get a little screp, but you hae to remember that fezzies arent suppsoe to run anything bigger than 14's fiesat fras is v.correct when saying that the shells are the same, it dont matter if it s a frst or a 1.1, they are the same shell ok, hope it helps!, just remenber if you mod, you gonna get probs, the best modders, beat the probs though!

I got told by a mate, that Ian howell,(god at fiesta's) only used to use springs, so I did that, pi ones buy I have recently found out that eiback do some which are a better ride overall, I do like my pi's but I can tell there is a difference in body roll after 1000 miles, it now has a little!, personally I dont want any, but thats personal preference, apart from that, well good. You need to make sure that you get the mk3.5 springs as the spring cups are different from normal mk3 fiestas. Xtreme do the Pi ones, cost me about 75 quid, dropped 35mm,but more like 40 at the front

oh soz, got you now, about Ian Howell, my mates were up at alconbury for a track day in october, I think you were there, anyway, they asked what he recommended using on a xr2i, he said about the prated springs/standard shock concept, they were uusing that at the time,so they have left it like that. Were you there. My mates were the ones in a black erst s2, and a slightly done upi xr2i, its on this site, its the one with the carmen toy on the parcel shelf, anyway, its got a unichip high lift cam, k&n, magnex BB rollin roaded to (I think I am right in saying 129/131bhp, around that region now). Anyhow, I think there is another meet up there soon or am I getting my wires crossed????
