ive taken um off and need 2 get the glue poo off now ppl say glue and tar remover, wats the name of it and do halford sell it?

i got mine off by using a hairdryer an had hardly any glue left on the doors.i then used white spirit to get all the crap off.couldnt be bothered spendin money on sumthin i'd hardly use.autoglym tar remover has been reccomended by many peeps on here.haldfords sell it yeah.they've also got loads of other stuff too.they all do the same job tho.just buy what u fancy!

meths was the weapon of choice for me
worked a treat
Now owner of a Mk2 Golf, but a FRST is next mark my words (or a VR6 conv. for the golf :) )

Try using meths and one of those plastic body filler spreader things to scrape it off, it worked for me.
It is actually easier if you use one of those plastic things when you remove them as it reduces the amount of that black crap that you leave on the car. :bonkers:

its a piss take why did thay put um on i first place?

ok guys, i wanna take my side strips off my mk3 5 door fiesta, but i'm not sure what i have to do (i jus got the car and jus passed my test :razz:, then all thats left is glue which i remove by doin wot u said in the posts above?
