My mate's mum just wrote off her 2.0litre injection sierra-don't worry she ok! The engine is fine re-built 2 years ago and in good nick-it's a j-reg! wot's the chance of fittin it in a mk3 fez and how complicated is it?

Not much point I'm afraid. The 2litre Zetec engine is lighter and more tunaeable that the DOHC 2litre Sierra engine. That's why people don't do this conversion. Because of this I've never seen one done and therefore don't know if engine mounts etc would fit.

sierras are rear wheel drive, meaning that the engine fits in the other way round, you will also need to fit a prop shaft in, etc, etc. i'm not saying it cant be dun, as weve seen cossie lumps in fez's. i'm just saying all the effort it really aint worth the hassle.

if u want something to do with ya sierra, do wot we did and make a cobra or lotus 7/ westfield etc. great fun and it will be a bit quicker! power-weight ratio etc.
