Silicone hoses available for Mk3 Fiesta Zetecs!

Postby xfactor on Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:06 pm

Not sure how many people realise this yet but silicone hose sets have been available for the Fiesta zetecs for a few months now.
There is a coolant kit which consists of 2 hoses the one that comes of the water pump to rad etc and the one from thermostat housing to rad, this kit is priced at £140. There is also an ancillary kit available which consists of 4 hoses and is also priced at £140.
All available either from stock or can be made within 3 days.
I would like to offer a group discount price is dependant on how many people order (more that order the better the price :D )
These kits will fit the 1.6 si / 1.8 XR2i / RS1800 and the 2.0 conversions.
Hoses are available in Blue, Red, Black, Yellow and silver.
The hoses are made by Roose motorsport who have had great feedback on all there products on numerous forums ans in some magazines.

Jay, do you have a pic of the one from the water pump to rad there should be 2 T-pieces in it?

Considering it, but it'll be in a few weeks yet.

Hi Ian the Fiesta RS turbo coolant kit is slightly cheaper at £120 again it consists of 2 hoses.

JJ- I do not have any images at the mo however I can tell you the kit does include the hose you talk about with the T pieces coming off it.

just want to say that i knew about these hoses! :Q i also want to say that i have a set and they are extremly well made, they look really cool and are definatly alot better than the rubber set, i did advice roose motorsport when i bought them that he would get more sales if he advertised them for the 1.6 si / 1.8 XR2i / RS1800 and the 2.0 conversions.

The bright colours are last on the list of reasons to want them.

They are made from triple/quadruple ply usually which means they are stronger than standard parts. Last thing you want is a coolent hose to blow when your doing 80mph on the motorway. Another advantage is that they dont perish like old rubber hoses can, and if you've ever seen a disfigured hose you will also know how easy they are to tear once damaged.

Am sure theres more reasons as to why they are superb, and you complain about the price but thats a bloody good price :o

P.S They look puuuurtty too!
