hi.gonna convert my xr2i cvh into a frst.can i skim the xr2i pistons.and how much to get the same cr of the frst pistons.

Be a whole load easier, safer and almost certainly cheaper to just buy a FRST bottom end in all honesty.

i fully appreciate what your saying oranaco but out of question can you skimm the xr2i cvh pistons.if it was possible i would only be after 8 or 9 psi to start with

You can't skim xr2i pistons as the crown on the is raised very high on one side you would have to take of about 6mm off the side of the piston thats high you would make the pision very weak
