I doubt it will clear the turbo Idealy you need a blower mounted in between the rad and cooler. try this link they sell slimline fans only 2" deep. http://www.autospecialists.co.uk/

yeah mate ur never gonna get it on the inside of ur bay with a t3. i had the same trouble i spaced the rad forward abit as the t3 act touches the rad. iv ordered vibratechnics to help stop the engine moving so it dont get my rad. then iv fitted a pro alloy front mounted intercooler custom mounted leaving me 56mm inbetween the rad and intercooler to fit my 52mm 12"blower fan :D to be honest i wish i had fitted a xr2i rad so i could fit more fans but maybe il do that in the future

Spal are the thinest one's there around 52mm and it's easyer to put them in between the rad and intercooler i would use a blowing fan as your car will run loads hotter and as your driving it with blow air through the rad the same way the cold air is flowing and buy a 82* thermosat im using a 75*

What size fans are you running? I need to upgrade mine as I only have a 8" spal at the moment

Ah right didnt see that. If you sticking with the smaller size rad, then i'd go for a setup like j7aoc. The standard fan is very good, I know it looks abit odd with two different size fans but its a good setup. Replace the thermosat as well.

You need a longer rad (full width) if your going to block direct air flow with an intercooler infront.
