Anyone know the cheapest place to get SOFTER springs for avo coilovers?

The ones that came with the coilovers when i bought them are far to hard - when the car hits a pothole you end up on the other side of the road! and yes they are on the softest damper setting.

Im sure ive read on here somewhere (searched but couldn't find) you can get softer versions?

I'll second that! :aaah:

My ride is rock hard too, I've just got used to it over the years - accepting the fact that coilovers are harsher

At the end of the day they're just 2 1/4" i.d Springs so I'd suppose Rally Design or Burton or someone similar would have a range of different poundage springs and it would be a case of finding out what AVO issue as standard, then just going for a lighter poundage rating...

I had mine on for around a year, even on the softest damping setting hitting a pothole sends the car totally off track, it's horrible and it must abuse suspension components/bushes from being so damn brutal :( .

However they do handle like they are on rails down freshly tarmac'd b roads :Q. It almost compansates for the above, well almost.

Ill give fiesta - centre a call tomorrow (where i bought mine from) and ask if they either sell off the shelf softer springs or if they know/can find out the poundage of the standard issue ones :) .

Any one else done this :-? .

I know of someone who had uprated springs which lowered the car even more but don't know if they effected the stiffness of the car.
