!!!SOLD!!! 1989 G-Reg Ford Fiesta XR2i 1.6i CVH !!!SOLD!!!
SOLD - 01/02/2009
This is my Fiesta XR2i, which after seven years of ownership I’ve decided to sell. The decision has taken a long time to come about due to the personal attachment I have with this car (It’s my first car!!!). The reason being that my husband (MAYHEW820) and I share several vehicles between us at present. The need for all these vehicles has now become unnecessary, so I’ve decided to sell my two sporty cars in replacement for a diesel 4x4 for all of my horse/towing duties.
This car has been lovingly cared for by my mechanic husband over the last seven years. His skills have kept her as tip top as can be, in the mechanical and cosmetic departments. This will be the reason that people may spy no official service history in the below spec. I can personally say that anything that has come up as doubtful with the car has been very quickly rectified. It’s always been a case of prevention rather than cure. She is not what I would call fragile either, she is used with great confidence on all kinds of journeys, long and short.
My Fiesta really is a great car. I am hoping that similar minded people will quickly work out that there is great value with this car and should require no immediate spending, unless it’s by choice. This car over the past seven years has had thousands spent, especially in the bodywork department with a super body specialist.
I will be sad to see her go but I cant bear to see her parked on my drive when someone else can really enjoy her full potential.
I’m based in Woodbridge, Suffolk, East Anglia.

Technical Questions Welcome
I have a hoist available where I work so viewers can have a detailed inspection of the vehicle’s underside and mechanicals if required. This will then prove that all the work mentioned above has been carried out, and also provide piece of mind for both parties.
Also if it will help negotiate the full asking price I’m prepared to sell with a full years MOT!
I’m looking for £1495 ovno, she is worth every penny and would be perfect for an enthusiast who could carry on and appreciate all of our hard work, with this loved example of this now rare car.
Many Thanks,
Sally
