Im no expert, and someone will probably correct me, but i'd say that because the ERST uses a T3 turbo and your FRST is running a T2 I'd say there not compatable.

As for the gearbox LSD is better because its a limited slip differential - better traction...

Hope this helps, but it probably doesnt :P .

i assume by double cap means capacity. shouldnt be a problem mate. all it will need is a bit of modifying i have a huge front mount that is universal fit jus means its more work to get it in.
if you are lookin for a straight swap you are better off withthe frst one.

diesel gearbox the ratios will be crap for an frst. S2 LSD gearbox is much better suited

If you mean the Pace double capacity intercooler then don't bother. I'm using a Pace intercooler on my Fiesta after binning the problematic chargecooler off and the intercooler is frankly crap.

My PACE came from my S2 before going on my bro's FRST and then on to my FRST. It fitted up with a bit of messing about but nothing too bad. Trouble is even after a short spirited run the ACT's are far too high to be of any use. :(

Leave it and put your money towards something decent that will do the job or you'll be paying out twice. Once on th ewrong bit of kit and then again to replace aid bit of kit with the right one.

So what do i do to keep the ACT's down???

Is it worth going for the front mounted intercooler? would that increase turbo lagg?

165 chip, t2 hybrid and standard intercooler.

Get yourself a Radtec, GRS or Pro Alloy intercooler. They do seem expensive at circa £350-£450 but you'll only be buying once as you got it right.

All the companies advertise in Fast Ford and Performance Ford :Q
