sony cd changer help

Postby rudeboymcc on Sun Aug 20, 2006 5:50 pm

Hi. I have a sony headunit with 6 number buttons, (some headunits have 10).

when you connect a cd changer the number buttons are used to change from cd to cd.

my question is if i get a 10 disk changer, how will i get to the cd;s after number 6?

any help is appreciated.

here's a pic of my headunit:

the two buttons above and below the rewind button (+ and -) are to switch between folders in an mp3 disk. i can't think of any other buttons that would do it and don't want to buy the 10 disk changer to find i cn't use 4 of the disks.

thanks for any help!

ah don't worry abotu it i found out how to do it.

it's the two buttons i mentioned. pressing once will skip folder. pressing once and then holding it down will go through folders quickly, but then pressing it repeatedly goes to the next disk.
