I would recommmend you get a complete dash to make sure the speed is correct.

Stick 'em on but you'll have to get the clocks calibrated, just like you do when you change to bigger wheels (how many of you have), a local garge should do it for you.

Re, 1) I haven't, for a few reasons.
1 - The rolling radius is much the same for my larger wheels than for the O.E. wheels they replaced. Wheel got bigger, tyre got smaller. I think the total difference was something like two complete turns out of 800 (I worked it out ages ago, I worry about stuff like that)
2 - I don't run 17 or 18 (or 19 for that matter) inch wheels. I run 16's on a Rover 216 which I think is a sensible, nice-looking-but-still-drives-okay type size.
3 - Analog speedo's arn't 100% accurate anyway? I think they over-read straight through the range but this varies car to car.
Madcatcraig, hold the white dial over your own and you'll see how far out it will be, the numbers most likely won't line up (e.g. your speedo may show 30mph, but the white dial only 25 or something). I agree with Fezzy Turbo, get a new pod and adjust mileage on new clocks to suit for that full conversion effect!!
