Nick, i think thats more about whether he can get there on time
I remember at Ford Fair when you came over to me and i couldn't remember who you were and i was like 'Are you sure you know who i am'
See you guy at clackets, i will be arriving with some Fiesta-si people as they live near me and will help me not get lost going to clackets

As we pulled up, it was a case of "Get ready to be moved". So we f**cked off to get something to eat, by the time we came out, everyone had gone to thurrock.

Tel, were you in a transit connect? and came back for a jetta?
Yeah, like everyone else says, some lovely cars there, and it had the potential to have been one of the best bluewater meets ever. Shame the police had to get involved, and the weather took a turn for the worst. Still, good to meet up with everyone again, the cheeky photo session at the end was an added bonus

Shame about the police ruining, but it ended up being a normal Fiestaturbo meet anyway, so it wasn't all bad.
As always good to see everyone again.
Will get my pics up soon, buts its going to take me a while to get my pics up, due to the 32kb connection
And where the Crusty Creme pics?

"Im sure most people know the story now. The meet WAS infact pre-aranged as such with the Centre management. However, as with the past three meets that i have been 'in charge' of arranging there, they have never once needed a 'letter' or 'contract' saying that we could use thier property. As it was explained to me by the police officer when i arrived, the management had recently chaned their policy (within the last two weeks, thanks to a local Corsa club acting up, and also the few mis-behaved drivers today didn't help anything) without informing me... they have had my details for the past 2+ years (Which they have contacted me on before) but a quick decision was made to get everyone who still wanted to go back to Thurrock Services, those who wanted to stay and shop did as they wished etc. But there was nothing else that could be done. Changing back the venue was the easiest thing to do, rather than turn away the rather dissapointed people who had travelled long distances to attend the meet.
Anyway, onward and upward though. After discussing solutions with Andie of FCGB, we came to the conclusion of a suitable new fixture for the 2009 onward meets. I shall contact the owners and go from there. It's a smallish pub with a large carpark in Kent just off the M25 seemed like a desirable option. They already host the local Skyline club meets along with others so i cant see it being a problem. Im also willing to travel down there to overcome any objections or problems with the owner to secure us a better venue. I think that the 'BW meet' has just outgrown Bluewater itself now."
I know i probably dont have to explain myself as the matter was beyond my control, but i hope to see you at the next meeting in April '09 before the show season kicks off

Interesting about the pub meet off the M25 in Kent though, shouldn't be too far away from me at all. I'll be straight there as soon as I pass Standard exterior or not!

I forgot to mention, I was told not to take any pictures at Bluewater as it is against their rules. The police threatened action if I continued! I did try and get Midge and his camera man to wave there press cards!

Really? The bluewater prius came round later in the day when Me, Henry, Mike and Toby were there and I pulled them and asked if we could take photos - we were allowed and they even joked about me being parked across two spaces. Maybe it was the police policy?
