spax shocks, what springs?

Postby CossieDan on Wed Jun 18, 2008 4:16 pm

few months ago i got a 30mm spax vsx kit, but when i fitted it to the car the front was more like 60mm and the car was undrivable due to all the rubbing. my old shocks got a bit wrecked while removing them so i put standard springs back on but left the spax shocks

basically im looking for some springs that will lower just a bit (20-30mm) and still be a nice ride on spax shocks. i need to park in a multi storey with speed bumps on the ramps when i go work so i cant go too low :) (exhaust fell off on the way out when i had the spax springs on :oooh: lol)

eibach maybe? or would it be better to get some new standard shocks with lower springs?

cheers :)

Eibach make excellent springs, but they are designed to be used with standard shocks. They might work well with the Spax though, so it might be worth buying some Eibachs and giving it a go - if it's no good, sell the Spax and get some new standard shocks to use with the Eibach springs...
