Speaker choices, 2-way or 3?

Postby lawson on Wed Nov 29, 2006 10:28 am

Hi all, hope you can help, im a little confused. Im looking to upgrade the speakers in my car but to what? i do not know :-?

My main question, Can you mix 2 and 3-way speakers i.e 2-way (or possible Component Speakers ) in the front 3-way in the back? Does it make much difference to the sound?

And finally does anyone recommend any speakers, i was looking at:

£50 Pioneer TS-E176C 17cm, 220W Component Speakers for the front

£60 Pioneer TS-E1396 13cm, 3 Way, 160W Max, Power Blade Cones for rear

I hear these are good speakers (the prices are a rough price) does anyone perhaps recommend anything else or have these speakers?

Thanks as always everyone that replies :)
