Speakers or Components
Hi Chaps,
I have a MK4 Fiesta as below and need to replace the current speakers
Should I go with components (existing) or just speakers..? What's the difference?
ta!

Re: Speakers or Components
Components are better.
Components are split speakers usually run through a crossover instead of housed all in one unit. For example instead of a two way speaker you can get a pack of speakers with a door speaker and a tweeter.

Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Cheers for the reply, Olly.
So am I right in presuming that by removing the existing standard speaker the existing tweeter would be rendered useless?

Re: Speakers or Components
Well yeah but why not rip it out and replace the original door speaker and tweeter with some better aftermarket ones, if you get a component set. Stealthy install for security but a better sound.
