Spring Kit for mk4

Postby vintagetobes on Mon Apr 09, 2007 8:53 pm

Hi, sorry if you get asked this all the time, but i am going to be lowering my mk4 finesse when the new wheels go on. Will a standard -40mm spring kit be all i need to do so? Cheers

I've gone 40mm with standard shocks and I've been ok so far. Just make sure you don't hammer it at any big drops/bumps or it makes a nice clunk!

If you totally want to be on the safe side, buy a full kit of springs and shock absorbers. But even then, take it easy on the bumps as your underneath is obviously lower to the floor and tends to ding.

Thanks rankinator. Could anyone else provide me with their experiences?
Cheers
