Will st170 brakes and calippers fit on my rs1800? Runnin on 17`s, -
Annyone here done this convension? Cheap solution compered to
willwood 310 mm kit (650£)

Yeah it's been done, will be no problem with 17s, search the site, someone else has just asked it.

jupp, if i read it corect they will fitt with spacers.
ok, how about the rear, what disk options do I have?
cosworth, rs2000, or I can use my original 240 mm disk and calipper from the front on the rear with a bracet`? or must I change the rear beem to fit disks on the rear???? (coulden`t find a decent answer to this question in the 40 last topick`s) :-?

You can use RS2000 rear discs, yes. Another conversion is using the Zetec S rear beam with Focus discs, which isn't as hard as it sounds.

to get the st170 brakes to fit on the front of your mk3 fiesta you will have to drill out the hubs to a 12mm hole (they are 10mm to begin with) and fit 5mm spacers

ok then, tomorow I will drive to the Ford dealership and ask how mutch it costs for the calippers, may the lord have mercy on the price!
Bet it costs both my arms and one leg :D
The chanses of findin one used in this "#¤¤%& contry is a million to one.
Ennyone got a picture of the ST`170 convension?
(just to keep me smiling when I empty my wallet tomorow :D )

Im sure Jay at Xfactor does the complete kit for the MK3 for the ST170 brake setup.

Roger at http://www.fordpartsuk.com - Email at RogerP@Edwardsford.co.uk Can do ST170 calipers for:

Left hand side caliper = 142.45 + VAT (Ford retail price = £203.50+VAT)
Right hand side caliper = 147.42 + VAT (Ford retail price = 210.60+VAT)

He told me he can also deliver to Norway.

manny thanks for the link, bying one here is a big NO NO!
the price here is 4500 norwegian kroners for eatch caliper at the local Ford store.That`s the same as 346£ per caliper. :aaah:

Me: `have anny caliper for the ford focus?`
Manager: `yes, we have many. what model?`
Me: (thinking) So far, so good!`
Me: `eh, the st170 one!`
Manager: (face changing), oh dear!

Think you get the rest. No need saying. Went home with no caliper.
Going to give roger a email I think. Thanks for the help evryone.!
