Hi

Just wanting peoples views on the above who actually have one in their car atm or who have drove a fiesta with one in!

How good is it really? Could you say hand on heart its worth the money? What are the noticeable differences over an escort lsd box?

Its well worth it mate. Ive never driven with a std lsd but over a non lsd box its great. My track car has a std erst box but it aint running yet so cant compare it .

I can actually put some power down in the wet which is nice rather than just burning out on the spot everytime i pull away. Handling is much improved and seems less understerry and can power out of corners without the tyres just lighting up . ALso its taken a shed load of abuse and lasted coming on a yr now. Which compared to a std rs1800 box a month  is pretty good going.

Only downside is that it can pull you allover the place when its "searching" for traction but its not to bad. Can catach you out when your flyinv along and one wheel goes into a puddle or on a drain cause it will pull real hard to the opposite wheels. So just got makesure you keep a firm grip on the wheel .

I've had two Series 2 boxes now. My first one was superb but i broke it, the one i have now not so good. I'm tempted to buy another S2 box but i've seen a Stg 2 CTS box for 800 which is practically new. I can't make up my mind.

Its doing my box in

Oh bugger that Dave, get the CTS. You're really risking it running your power on a standard 'box, and you know how gay it is removing a 'box from a Fiesta. CTS all the way.

That's the only reason I'm trying to nudge you into buying the CTS 'box

Not really, had forgotten that's the reason you'd denied me the gearbox you promised me on your life :p
