Stage 3 head
Whats different in a stage 3 head compared to a standard one?
I know its ported and polished but what other components are uprated to and from?
Thinking about a DIY job on mine I know I'll be ok with the porting and polishing just not sure about the rest any ideas
I imagine they are quite expensive to buy

Take a look on the Puma Racing site http://www.pumaracing.co.uk as I believe Dave knows what he is talking about

diff company do diff things for each stage u can have:
-ported+flowed
-new valve seats if needed
-3 angle valve seats
-stainless oversized valves
-4th angle on the valve
-combustion chambers modded
-new valve guides, also bronze guides if required
-skimmed flat
-crack tested
-cleaned in an acid bath(looks pukka after its been in one)
Also polishing does fook all and can wreck the flow/fuel mix in it!..
probably more but thats all i can think of
