As I've said before you will regret it unless atm you are experiencing a lot of brake fade.

My personal opinion is that the solid discs and calipers have a better bite, of course with the low weight engines. There will be NO benefit of upgrading to ventilated unless you have to dissipate lots of heat at the the vented ones are the SAME SIZE, just vented.

As above, only worth doing if you hammer your brake pedal lots.

lol, well, im very sensible hehehe!!!
so the rst brakes are the same diametre, they are just wider to allow a vented disc?
does this mean they will fit behind y 13" rs alloys?
thanks for your help guys.

They will, if do you upgrade, make sure you upgrade the master cylinder as well, other the pedal will feel terrible.

Re: standard 1.1 to frt brakes?
to be fair, as tempting as it is to put rst brakes on, its seems a lot more hassle than its possibly worth?
sorry to keep asking questions, im inquisitive but would i have to upgrade the master sylinder as it simply would not have the power to push the calipers together?
also, what would you recommend then as a decent brake setup?
thanks for ya help! (again!)

Re: standard 1.1 to frt brakes?
The standard fiesta master cylinder is 19mm and the high spec one is 24mm, so it moves more fluid with each pedal press.
Ideal setup would be, below 100bhp; standard solid disc setup. 100-140bhp, larger rear drums and ventilated fronts with high spec master cylinder. Anything more, Escort Cosworth 300mm front discs and standard large rear drums with Escort RS master cylinder.
