What are the stars for underneath your username and why have some people got fcuk loads and ive got a mesely 1?! :???:

The stars represent the amount of messages a user has posted.You only have 1 star as you have only posted 15 messages.Look in the FAQ,it tells you how many posts are required to earn more stars.
