If i was to start building an engine from the beginning in my garage with no real time limit etc. And i was planning on turboing it, which zetec engine would be the best to start with?

2.0 or 1.8 ?

also if i break down that question even more, would it make a difference between buying a 115 bhp to a 105 or a 130 (1.8)bearing in mind that I am going to be replacing allot of parts for uprated ones?
Mk 3 1.8 16v (130PS) , WRC front bumper, cossie rear, rs2000 side skirts, twin exhaust, tinted windows, Evo spoiler, K & N , 17 inch momo arrows .... oh and a 75 shot of NOS !!
