Postby andyb-rst on Fri Nov 28, 2008 8:01 am

hiya guys and gals not so long ago i bought a fiesta rst which ive already owned before but had to sell due to not bin able to afford it as i was on apprentice wages.lol but now its back and ive got some good money to sort it out aswell as the bodywork. so all im wanting to know is a reliable strong spec which i can run 200bhp or there abouts. the spec of the car already is t3 turbo, s/s exhaust, 165 superchip, and filter, the car has also been fitted with a poor universal front mounted intercooler which is getting changed but not sure what intercooler im wanting so all ideas will be much appreciated thanks

a 195 chip t3 and either a full front mount or just a upgrade intercooler a set of beige injectors and a cam should see you hit that number

you should also put arp rod bolts in as well to make sure it stays together.

Or to be even better.....

forged pistons
steel rods, arp bolts
worked over head
injectors
T3
uprated fuel pump (which others had forgotten to mention  )
exhaust

and your gearbox might need looking at, especially the clutch.

cheers

hybrid t2, cam, beiges, decent cooler and a decent map.

t3 will give you a more reliable long term 200brake but can be done on a t2

but at that sort of power everything else will ned uprating, gearbox mounts and gearbox if the torque is there.
