Struggling With Insurance Please Help!!!
Hi all can i start off by saying, my car is'nt strictly a ford, its nearly there (mazda121 --Thats what you get when some one offers you a free car!!!) any way iv got it lookin pretty nice with the complete Zetec exterior, recaro interoir, sound system and LED's wired in. But the only problem is (even without declaring mods) at the age of 18 (first car) i cant get a realistic quote im getting nearly £3500 every time. Its only a 1.3 and i have no points or convictions. Can any point me in the right direction (Ps i also have pass plus, does bugger all though)!!

it all depends where you are and how much of a risk theft is in your area

thats to find how low or high risk your area, is also where you keep car at night will add to total of quote, best for young drivers is http://www.quinn-direct.co.uk probably best to delcare mods tho because in event of crash i think it can void the insurance or atleast you wont get your money back for mods done, that link above has tips and that for insurance quotes have look on that and also

It's a group 4 car, so shouldn't be that high. I insured a group 5 car for £1200 at 17 on my provisional, and got £600 back when I did my pass-plus at 18. My area is in group B though. TBH if it was going to make that much difference I'd consider moving!
