Strut Brace for my XR2i

Postby jedigav on Thu Mar 11, 2004 5:51 pm

Does anyone on here know if I can get a chrome or Silver finish Strut Brace for my Jreg XR2i :-? Most of the ones I see listed are finished in Red for mine, but you can get a Sparco polished alloy one for the 2i16v. Any ideas?

I saw the Alloy Polished Strut Brace in ESP Design's ad in this months Fast Ford. It's £89.95. Bit more than a normal red OMP one, but it sounds pretty tasty :D I bought my exhaust from them last year & was well pleased. I did wonder if it would fit mine, I don't really want a red one cause my festa's grey & I'm thinkin of getting some chrome/stainless bits :D I might give em a ring & ask, if I get no joy I'll see if I can contact Sparco direct & quiz them. Thanks for your replies :)

1. Get a normal strut brace

2. Get it chromed from these guys:

http://www.rsturbo.uk.net/indexhigh.html

I enquired in2 it and they said unless complecated it will cost around £45 + carriage for the chroming.

May be a bit of an expensive method but when u think of what it will look like in your bay.......HHHHMMMMMmmmmm.

I think that's what i'm gonna do Matt, i'll get the OMP one which is about £62.00 & get that chromed. I'll get some pics on here as soon as I've done it, thanks for the advice :)
