Stunning fiesta rs turbo
After a lot of thought, I've decided to sell my stunning fiesta rs turbo, as I really want a
Focus rs. I've only recently bought it, mainly because it was local and such a good example. I'd always really liked it when seen it in passing etc so bought it as a summer toy,
But my finances have improved since then, and I can now afford what I really want. So here goes
Here's the add I bought the car from
For sale is my much loved red fiesta RS turbo which is a 1991 H reg. I have had the car for almost 2 years and I am selling due to upgrading to a more family friendly car as I have just had a kid. Since having the car I have spent quite alot changing and maintaining it so it has been very well looked after in the time I have had it. Here is the rough spec.
Engine:
1600 cvh
t3 Turbo upgrade
Radtec front mount intercooler
Cosworth Air filter
Stage 3 Area 6 cylinder head with cvh34 camshaft and vernier pulley
165 chip.
Scorpion exhaust system
Some samco hoses
Battery relocated to the boot
Kenlow engine fan
Transmission:
Fully rebuilt gearbox with receipts.
Suspension:
Full gaz coilver set front and rear.
Wheels and tyres:
Genuine Escort cosworth Monte carlo 16" Wheels in silver. (Recently painted)
205/45/16 Bridgestone toronza on the front
195/45/16 Cheap Brand tyres on the rear.
Brakes:
4x4 Cosworth brakes with ebc discs and green stuff pads up front.
Standard drums on the rear with new shoes and cylinders.
Interior:
Late spec black interior has been fitted. The front door cards are a bit tatty on the top edges and could ideally do with some attention, but seats in good condition. The car also has boost and oil pressure gauges. There are 2 arming switches in the car, one controls the idle control valve, and the other one was for the fans, however I have now fitted a radtec stand alone fan controller so this one is uneeded now.
Car paint work is in good condition for age, believe the car had a full repaint before I purchased it apart from the engine bay. There are some minor scuffs to the rear bumper, a few cracks on the bodykit where it was molded to the car, and a few small rust bubles on the roof. The fuel cap is in mint condition which is nice and there is no rust on this area. Underside on the car is in pretty good condition for the age, fairly rust free. Had to have a couple of small patches of weld for mot but nothing major.
The car has had many other parts purchased and fitted, eg lower arms, drop links, track rod ends, rack and rack ends and rear flexible hoses. Due to being a motor mechanic and a friend who works for a well known parts supplier, I don't tend to get invoices. For this reason I dont have alot of history since I have owned the car.
(Located on the Isle of wight).
Price for the car is £2650 including Monte wheels (2 have curb marks as I put them on my girlfriends car for a few weeks )
For this price I'm willing to meet the buyer at either portsmouth, Southampton or lymington
This is the lowest I'm prepared to take for the car so please don't waste your time or mine with offers. I believe the car to be priced very fairly as it is
