What do you think of having each section of the Main Index Forum highlighting when we place the mouse cursor over it and making that a link into the Forum itself too aswell as the normal written link we have??

Hypercells?

Looks neat for the first couple of mins, then gets annoying. Can work sometimes but not on message boards I don't think.

Also confusing to people new to the internet who have worked out that underlined words or words that underline when mouse over are links.

I'm not suggesting that we take away the Hyperlinks, just adding the Hypercells which highlight. I think they look kool and add a lil animation into the Forum.

I have seen this on one phpBB v.2 Forum on the Net. If you'd like to view the site please let me know and i'll give you the link. (I dont really want to post it on here! LOL).

no please dont - they have it on a couple of other forum i use and its really annoying, say when youre chatting on msn and you want to go back to the forum window, you click somewhere with no link - but with hypercells you can never find space.

theres sites where if u click any bit of the illuminated area it goes to that topic where u clicked. i find this annoying. keep this site the way it is i say
