superbike throttle body coversion
hi all i have just read an article in practical performance car (sept issue) which has in it two interesting articles.
firstly is a guide to zetec engines, alittle on tuning them but mostly what they are and what the differences are between the different types - helpful if like me you plan to transplant a bigger zetec.
secondly is a guide on building a superbike throttlebody conversion for any car for as little as a couple of hundred quid. interestingly this guide says that it is easiest on zetec engines using st170 stud manifold and suzuki throttle bodies.
i plan to put a 2litre into my xr2i 16v with one of these throttle body conversions. what i ask of you is for any advice on the conversion (if you know someone whos done it) whether the st170 ecu will work with silver top zetec or for advice on megasquirt and where i can get hold of a megasquirt kit.
updates will follow as they happen thank you for your help
