Yeah would work but bits would have to be modified for it to fit in the fiesta's engine bay, a bloke (called hemmingway from Croatia I think ) Supercharged his RS1800 with impressive results and it's on this site somewhere...
I'm keen to get one of those kits for my ST170-engined Rs1800,It's well worth doing, especially with the exchange rate being so strong against the dollar too. With proper mapping, an intercooler and running low boost these supercharger kits run fine on standard compression zetecs too although I would upgrade pistons etc if I was running the high boost option

yeah wud be good but as said would have to modify to fit mk3 engine bay like the way the focuses throttle body is mounted you would have to sort another induction hose out thats just one thing then theres the problem of the header tank being in the way where the supercharger sits that would have to be remounted i would just go for a turbo conversion would be about the same money but far much easier
dont hate the playa hate the game

I thought only the Power steering fluid resevior would be in the way looking at it. The header tank would be an easy relocation. Sure it could go where I'll have removed the driver's side wiper gubbins from. And I'm planning on removing the power steering too. As for the throttle body location, I'll have a focus inlet on anyway.
I'm sure there'll be more problems, but I have a while before I'll be thinking about doing it. Anyone know how the compression ratio is taken care of, or isn't this an issue with superchargers?

Jonezy :itl just use a decomp plate,
£1500 not bad tho, need an extra £1000 for pistons and rods tho.
no managment either.
maybe no that good
I thought it'd be a decomp plate, but couldn't see one in pics of the kit. Shouldn't need pistons and rods too if it's a good solid engine.
Management is taken care of by re-flashing the ECU. Don't know if the Mondy one is compatible though?

z actly, need megasquirt minimum.
i think you would need pistons and rods, if your going to run any decent "reliable power gain" that you gat thrash without a rod letting go.
spose its up to who ever pays the money tho

Yeah. Have been thinking about this some more, and imagine it's probably better to run on the Focus engine. Anyone any ide on differences that may mean this is the case? Like stronger rods and pistons?
