bike carbs are now fitted and run not great but still its running

the problem at the moment is the mechanical fuel pump is pumping

to much fuel so need to fit a regulator or some way of reducing the pressure

tomorrow i will be making some bracing to hold the carbs secure

and sort the fuel problem

cheers fellas

i dont have a lot of money so trying to do this on the cheapo :) :)

i think i have now sorted the fuel pressure using a aprilla rs 125 fuel tank valve thing

and used a fuel pressure gauge to adjust it to were i want it and its now running 3 psi :D :D :D :D :Q

by the time i done it today its a bit late to see how it drives :( :(

but it idles at just under 1000rpm :) :)

so will get some pics tomoz of it and a video of it driving or atleast revving

so far this has cost me no more than £40 to do :aviator: :aviator:

Postby jonboisescort on Wed Jun 10, 2009 3:19 pm

they are now running alot better and found a fuel cut off valve to regulate the

pressure instead of the rs125 valve thing

it drives nicley but idling a bit high but thats not a major problem

will be getting a mate to have a look at the carbs to see how the are doing

i am really happy and the noise is emense :Q :Q
