supercharged mk3 escort 23/7/12 tiny update

Postby jonboisescort on Fri Feb 20, 2009 2:41 pm

now the fiesta has gone and most of the parts have now been sold

you may know i brought a escort a week ago and have been fixing it most of the week

to get it on the road as it will be my every day car

the plans for the escort are:

lowered
15 steelies or alloy
get new front panel , bonnet and drivers side wing
2.0 zetec
5 speed box

so far i have :

stripped the interior and put my wingback seats in
3 spoke sterring wheel
lowered need some better springs
fixed damage

for the next year or so i will be keeping it looking sleeper
then it will get painted white with matt black s1 kit and probs orange wheels

some pics of when i got the escort

Totally off topic for a min but i saw a car last night...

White fiesta... black body kit... orange wheels...

It was only a mk4... but still... you have obviously started a trend!!

What are you doing about brakes? Being the poverty spec yours doesn't have the servo assisted master cylinder so may be better to sort out better stopping before going quicker?

Are you converting it to efi? If so needs either a s1 fueltank or retrofit the mk4 bits, will also need new fuel lines, external fuel filter, and the wiring will be a laugh! Have you considered running the 2.0 on carbs (not throttle bodies), would only need to make a few changes to the wiring and would bolt in a lot easier
MotorcyclesFish :The thing is if I caught Brian fudgekin a bloke, I wouldn't think 'oh Brian's a gay', I'd think 'Brian that fudgekin weird haired mongoloid is raping a gay to see if anyone finds it funny'
