update time

have purchased some new parts
headlights
rear lights
rear bumper
ford battery cover

the bike carbs have been removed for now as the need a few bits sorting so am back on the webber

went and took some pics of the car today

also have another car on the way

have just sourced another set of bike carbs off ebay

have sent a message to the seller and he has replyed saying i can have them

have now picked up the new bike carbs and are in egreat condition

just need to make a new manifold as these carbs sit at a much higher angle

but will be better fit as it will now be out the way of the brake servo

cant beleive i paid £50 for them

cant wait to get them on

after nothing but problems with the old carbs i decided to start again

with another set off a gsxr 750 ??

they are 36mm were as the old ones were 34mm carbs

i have used the old manifold for now


they main problem i had was with the fuel pressure being to high form the mechanical pump

so sourced a r1 fuel pump off ebay lastnight and collected that today

they are prity much ready to go back on just need to get a mountain bike gear cable


price of new setup
gsxr carbs 36mm with trumpets £50
r1 fuel pump £25
inlet manifold £20
other little pices £10

total £105

not much been happining to the escort lately and was gutted i couldnt make ford fair looked like it was a great show

the garage i work at has just brought a new place whiich is a much better place abd is a great size

it was a bit messy lol but a mate took some pics of the escort before it was tidied up

it blends in quit well

i have these really there 15s off a peugeot and the offset is great as they stick right out with no spacers

atm i have 2 13s on the front as i need to sort two tyres tomoz

will need to roll the arches as when i go lower there going to rub







mot expires tuesday

so will be off the road for a couple of weeks to sort some issues this will include a new inlet manifold which will be made from scratch

will be using the works toyota celica gtr :)
