They are wide indeed. I think you should lower it more with a good bit of camber! :D

looking amazing mate, really nice job and really nice sound.

And now have me wondering if i could get my 1.8 focus zetec set up to run with bike carbs.

any info on what you needed in total to get these running will be great, sourly tempted.

cheers mate :Q

to get them to run on a zetec you will to fit:

fuel pressure regulator as bike carbs run about 3 psi
bogg brothers inlet manifold or make one
and some sort of managment for the spark

not sure what else will be needed as my car was carb anyway so is alot simpler

get in touch with bogg brothers they should be able to help you out :) :)

The famous Deflex ones made from some sort of soft metal, hit a pot hole and they fold in half

You should go work for an F1 team Jon, judging by the speed you strip stuff down :o

engine has now been painted matt black same as the inlet manifold
not sure if the rc cover will stay blue but may go beige :)

sump will be cleaned aswell

also made the loom by removing 2 relays and 3 fuses from the fiesta loom to
make a separate loom for the engine electrics all it requires is a couple of live
feeds and an earth :)

That actually look really smart!! Matt black makes it look that much more aggressive!

Did you just take off the manifolds and spray them with rattle cans?

Looking great as always :D

I say give the beige a go on the cam cover :) The blue is completely wrong against the matt black. I don't know how long you intend to keep the plastic intake for either, but paint that the same as the inlet and block just so it blends in a bit otherwise it just stands out something rotten :( (On all Zetecs, that is - not just yours!)

You dont need to get discs with 4 holes, can just use one of the existing, and drill 3 new holes

Mk3 and mk4 escort fuel tanks are not a straight swap for eachother, the only option is an mfi tank which is what i am using. There into an external fuel pump.
