while its completly stripped ...

have u thought about getting it on its side and totally restoring underneath and elliminating any rust ?
chop up as many repair panels off the beige one you may need. cos once its gone its gone !
remember certain panels cant be got from fords no more or pattern places.

floor, bulkhead , a pillars, boot floor etc
you get the picture

Chop her up, Jon. Thats what I'm doing with the Ghia in my yard. Cut all the panels off, roof, chassis rails etc and keep or sell them. Genuine good scuttle panels go for good money. Unfortunately my brother lifted the bonnet on my Ghia up when the window wipers were up and bent the scuttle :(

good shell there mate. My first escort turbo was completley rotten on those chassis legs, got well ripped off with it. Personly i would of used 3m stone chip on the underside, dries hard and paintable, where the body schultz stays rubbery, just my appinion. Good work :)

now have a engine which i won off ebay lastnight and collected it within a few hours if winning

its done 65000

and is in great condition

and the best thing is got it for £80 :o :o :Q

today i messed around with the supercharger and bolted st gearbox on and put it in the escort ready for the mounts to made

the supercharger will fit better on this than the silvertop

as one hole lines up really well

will need to modify the manifold a little

the engine will be getting new head gasket and cambelt

might do some more tomorrow but i dont get many days off from work

might get the mounts done this weekend when my neighbours about with his welder :Q
