They plug into the ecu. Get your ecu code, phone superchips, explain the other mods you have, pay them, get chip in post plug it in.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

the superchip or any other off the shelf chip is basically an optimised standard map.

They dont really make the most power out of all of the modifications as each car responds differently to each level of tune and how good the oigional engine is.

However they are very cost effective and good if you dont want the outlay of a custom map, which in all honesty wouldnt give much more than a superchip for that spec.

Best bet is to keep looking on ebay for a second hand one that matches your ecu code or ring superchips direct.

165 and 195 only apply to a fiesta turbo so on an xr2ui that is not an issue (its basically stage 1 or 2 and meant to signifiy the power of the engine after chipping iirc)

the code off the ecu is got by undoing the 10mm bolt that holds the large rubber boot onto the ecu in the engine bay.

once the boot is undone the ecu plug can be removed from the ecu and a 4 letter code is on a printed lable on the front of the ecu at the top.
