Superchip probs

just fitted a superchip in my 2i 16v and all was well until arriving at a junction in 2nd, see it is clear, put the accelerator down and....nothing, everything stops and after a second or so it jumps and all's well again.
Any ideas guys?

Could be a conincidence and u just need new ignition leads (Magnecor) or a new rotary arm and dissy cap. Could also be plugs? Hope this helps.

mate does it like kick in after a second?

it used to do that in my 2i as well :-?


but i just assumed that was part of the chip.

yeah it does, only happened a few times but other than this small problem its great.
Im gonna give it a while to settle and just see how it goes

when I got mine fitted (on a FRST) they never cleaned the terminals properly - so intermittantly it would cut out!

so just give it a spray with something?

gotta do something cos it wouldn't kick in after it stopped and had to restart the engine so i looked good :lol: :rolleyes:
