Superchip v Custom Chip

Postby rsmcelroy on Fri Jun 17, 2005 3:00 pm

I ahve recently done the all popular T3 conversion and uprated cam (CVH34). At the end of the month i am getting beige inj and month later a custom chip... or so i thought!

Still getting the injectors however there is about £300 worth of welding to be done on the car.

So seen as though my kitty is running a lot lower now. get a Superchip. What experiences have people had with them. I drove it the other day and it judders everywhere (as no chip). Will this get rid of the judder and how good are they compared to an all singing all dancing custom chip

Any help please?

Superchips are designed for standard setups, best to go for a custom chip and if Stu does one for about £250 it sounds like a very good deal.

The T3 will flow more air than the T2 even at the same boost. Best option would be to have a chip done too your cars spec. Stu At MSD is the man for this job. You could get away with running a normal 195 chip but you wouldn't unleash the full potential of the car with it

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
